Information Technology professionals and recruiters looking for talent. Unlike most other IT websites,
this one is not for profit, and is not sponsored by a recruiting agency
or large company seeking new employees. This site is built by independents
for independents!
Our
mission is two-fold: To help create a sense of place for self-employed
and freelance individuals and to help match those individuals with customers, companies,
and talent hunters seeking project assistance where an independent would be a great fit.

December, 2008: THIS WEBSITE IS SIMPLY HERE FOR HISTORICAL PURPOSES...BECAUSE I CAN :-) It was fun to
do it back in the day but it's time to move on. Thanks everybody for all the help over the years.

From this page you can link to Independent contractor websites that are localized to
particular states.
The original independents site is in Colorado and was started in late 2000. New Hampshire opened
a site as did Washington.
If you start your own local independents site contact us so we can link to it.
The idea of a local site for independents is a good one we think. It allows you to know your fellow contractors.
Check out the Colorado Site, with it's many independents and local resource links to see what we mean. There
is no substitute for local knowledge of an area and that is what these independent sites are designed to provide.
The only working newsletter currently is on the Colorado site should you wish to have information "pushed" to you
